An important European key challenge, according to EU Strategy Europe 2020 and Digital Agenda for Europe, is to drive ICT innovation and strengthen the link between science and industry. The elements of knowledge and technology transfer have already been understood for several years and many actions have been taken to deal with its specific challenges. The BSR-INTERREG 4B project BONITA was initiated to form a strong European cluster from transfer practitioners within the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) developing mechanisms for turning research into sustainable regional values.
The TZI Research Group is a participant in the innovation and business market on November 30.
On the networking event TZI will present their work on the BONITA Enhanced Technology Transfer Model. The model will be visualized on a so called multi touch table. This specific interface allows researchers to present even a boring/dry topic to a non science-community auditorium. They will interact by a fancy presentation platform. This new forms of group interactions demonstrates an interesting peace of technology which has already a proven commercial value. Doing so even the complex transfer model and the BSR project are explained in an attractive way.
BONITA has setup a network of showrooms in several partner countries which stimulate the dialog between research and practice. BONITA has also developed an Enhanced Technology Transfer model. As a major project success, the model will be published as innoSPICE by the international ISO/IEC 15504 community (Spice User Group). This standard based model can be used as an instrument for quality management in the field of innovation, knowledge and technology transfer and is applicable to all knowledge intense institutions, which will generate efficiency gains in the field of innovation and help investors and research institutions optimize public funds to achieve economic added value.
BONITA is an excellent example how European collaboration within the Baltic Sea Region can generate significant sustainable results for transnational benefits.
The TZI research group researching in the field of human-computer-interaction, looking for new/innovation interaction models with computers.
The TZI research group is looking forward to share the knowledge and to show the opportunities of the advanced communication, interaction and knowledge transfer by this technology.
